Lace and fur are the two biggest hits for the season and should definitely be coordinated with your outfit if you are able to find the perfect piece. While wearing a fur shrug, coat, or scarf, you will be warm and look like a fashionista at the same time. Lace can be worn as a top, dress, or as tights. There is lots of it out there so lets get shopping!

Sneak Peak

Elmwood Eye Candy is the name of artwork created by a local artist. The only thing sweeter than this artwork? The lady behind it all. I have been so fortunate to have meet Liz (per recommendation of my friend Kaite). I asked Liz to create one of her beautiful Buffalo canvas pieces for my friend Sarah's wedding. By the time I contacted her to the time I picked up the Buffalo, I felt like I had made a new friend.

Liz is a resident of Elmwood Village a Mother and and artist. The demand for her work is growing rapidly. I don't know how she does it all and I admire her for it. Every piece of art she creates she puts her heart into it, and it shows.

Liz and I share a passion in fighting cancer. Cancer has unfortunately touch her family numerous times. Well, cancer has messed with the wrong girls! Now we are teaming up to raise funds for research $!

As her contribution, Liz has graciously donated 2 Buffalo canvases, 2 sets of wine glasses and one very unique wine glass to the event. I know these will be in popular demand on sat night! These items will be available at the event as silent auction items.

Let the bidding begin ( :

Mixing and matching is all the rage this season so let’s mix those highs and lows! A casual skirt would look perfect with a super dressy top as long as you dress up your feet. Booties look fabulous against a fun pair of tights or if your feeling really funky, find a great colored sock and wear it with your pumps. You can even find little bootie socks to match your outfit and will add the perfect pop of color!

Style by Jenna...FOR MEN!

For all you men out there, grab that tailored jacket and a nice pair of slacks for a fun night out! A striped tie, solid scarf and even leather gloves would be perfect. You could also wear more causal slacks with dressy shoes and a nice jacket or dress shirt to complete the look. Leather jackets are also a fun way to spice up your outfit!

Feel free to layer and stack your jewelry. Load up your arms with a combination of gold, silver, or sparkly bangles. The more the better!!

Tights are always a “must have” to complete a true European outfit. Textures and patterns are so fun with a dress or skirt and they don’t even have to match this season! A subtle polka dot or line down the back of your tights will go with any pattern you choose and it is so in!

Sneak Peak

There will be a lot of cool items to bid on at the event so keep your eye out for some great options for Christmas gifts or maybe a little treat for yourself. Some of the items will be be from Tony Mauro, a local artist. My mother and I met Tony and his wife when we decided to take a quick stroll through the Quaker Arts Festival. We stopped in his booth, because we have admired his work for years, and got to talking. His wife is also a cancer survivor and they were more than happy to let us borrow some art work for decoration and it will also be available to purchase. Check out some of his work for a sneak peak to what you may see at the event!
